Ramblin' Jack with Andy Hedges - 2022 Recording Session Marin, California
March 21, 2022 (Northern California) - On January 28th and 29th of this year, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott joined friend and music partner Andy Hedges in the studio! Tracks recorded are currently in review from the Marin, CA sessions that took place at Time Weed’s Buffalo Bill Recording Studio. Andy shares with us about the project, “Jack and I spent two days in studio to record tracks for my upcoming album of cowboy and folk songs that will feature Jack and other special guests. Jack enjoyed playing my 1943 Gibson LG2 and I enjoyed playing his 1970s Martin D28. We recorded ten songs in two days and the very best of the bunch will be released on the upcoming record. Additional guests and details to be announced for a planned late 2022 release! “. Talented photographer, Jessica Lifland joined to capture the session along with friends of Ramblin’ Jack, Jerry Kay and Venta Leon.
